Karen Trapenberg Frick, UCCONNECT's Assistant Director, UCTC's Co-Director, and UC Berkeley's Adjunct Professor of City and Regional Planning has recently published "Remaking the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge". The book reveals how the project, which was originally projected to cost $250 million, ended up at the $6.5 billion mark.The book has garnered considerable media attention, being featured in CityLab From The Atlantic (From $250 Million to $6.5 Billion: The Bay Bridge Cost Overrun).
